downcheck.io is a small, independent tool. Questions about how a check works, a bug report, an abuse report, or a request to remove a domain from the public list — send it over and we will get back to you.
What we can help with
- How the checker works. Why a site came back as slow, reachable-but-error, or down, and what we actually measured.
- Bugs and false results. If a result looks wrong to you, tell us the domain and roughly when you checked it. We do not keep a history, so the time is the only thing that helps us look it up in the server log.
- Removal requests. Want a domain gone from the “Recently checked” list? Mention the domain. The list is kept in memory and rotates quickly, but we can clear it on request.
- Abuse reports. If someone is using the checker against your site, let us know.
What we cannot do
We cannot look inside your own network, we cannot see what a logged-in visitor sees, and we cannot monitor your site continuously or send alerts. See the FAQ for what a check can and cannot tell you, and the legal page for how we handle your message.
